Double Diamond Interchange [Vanilla]

Straight highways; 45° ramps. A perfect replacement for the vanilla cloverleaf as it takes about the same amount of space despite having no weaving nor merging.

Fully-directional ramps mean that people don't build these in real life any more, but they work great in-game, helping the traffic use both sides of the highway.

Uses only 3-lane highways and ramps for vanilla-compatibility. For Lane Mathematics™, either upgrade the segments

• outside the merges/exits to 4-lane highways and inside to 2-lane highways, or
  
• outside the merges/exits to 5-lane highways.

(Personally I like the look of the latter—as seen in the third picture, it makes it look more like it has real exit/merge lanes and the middle three lanes line up well—but that wide of a highway tends to be way overkill, so the former is generally better if you care about money.)

Officially called a Full Diamond Interchange[en.wikipedia.org], but meh, I like this name.
