This mod adds the series 113 of the Austrian Federal Railways.

The rapid increase in long-haul traffic in the aftermath of World War I meant that the two-couplers of series 6 to 306 and 308, which had previously been used on the main lines of the BBOE, quickly reached their load limits. They could practically only be used as preloading locomotives.
The nearly 120 existing express train couplers (Gölsdorf's series 10 and 310, as well as the machines of the series BBÖ 109) were clearly overtaxed on the 10 per thousand ramps of the Westbahn in the Wienerwald and before Salzburg. Thus, 450t trains on these gradients barely reached a speed of over 40 km/h.
Johann Rihosek, successor of the deceased Karl Gölsdorf, designed a four-coupled express-train locomotive based on the series 570 of the Austrian Southern Railways.
The resulting series 113 brought enormous driving time reductions on the Westbahn. But it also came on less frequented routes such as the Südbahn. There, this attractive series performed satisfactorily until the end of steam operation on the Semmering Railway.
