Union Pacific NR 41

This reskin is based on the 'Dependable Transportation' version of the Union Pacific livery, as seen on several types of diesel locomotives in the 1950's. Curiously the Gas Turbine locomotives (even the coal-burning turbine No. 80) never carried the 'DT' version of the livery. Some locomotive types that did carry the livery were as follows:

ALCO C-855A and C-855B
EMD DD35A
EMD GP30
EMD GP35
EMD SDP35
General Electric U25B
General Electric U50 and U50C

Amongst many others. As with most of my NR reskins, this one carries the number of a real-life NR. The specific locomotive upon which this reskin was based is the General Electric U50 and U50C.
