Welcome back people! I made a big thing this time.




After playing the great mod Closer To Tabletop while waiting for the last major SFO update, there was a particular feature of that mod I really enjoyed, namely the horde units implemented for each race! Naturally, I wanted something similar for SFO, so I started working on this and made it from scratch over the past few months.

What this mod currently contains is larger (usually 2x) variants of pre-existing rank and file, bread and butter units. Most of the time, their base stats are exactly the same but with a higher charge bonus from the added mass and an occasional additional attribute like expendable for example. But, generally speaking, their stats are the same and they will benefit from the same buffs and debuffs as their original unit. There are some units for each race, except for the Wood Elves.

If you have questions post them here but for the love of all that is chaos, please bear the following in mind before you do:

1. If you have some criticism, is it constructive, useful, factual and doable? If not then please don't start.
2. Is this an actual problem or just my personal opinion?
3. Can I fix this myself?
4. Is your question "can you do X for me"? Then the answer is always no.

Here's a few simple ones I figure I may as well get out of the way my self, but if you think of others, just drop 'em in here.

Q: Can you make a vanilla or mod X version of this?
A: I could, but I definitely wont. It's a lot of work and it's not something I'm going to dedicate time to doing. If someone else wants to, go nuts. You have my blessing, just give me credit.

Q: Unit X is OP, please nerf.
A: It's possible there may be some unbalances here, so if you do have some problems with that, try and describe the context as much as you can so I can find out what you mean (unit, buffs, terrain, etc).

Q: Some of these units aren't lore friendly, what's the deal with that?
A:

Q: I can't recruit horde units as Nakai, what the hell brah?
A: I'm aware of this. I will fix this in due course. In the meantime, stop playing as a homeless geriatric crocodile.

This mod really looks amazing, it's kind of a shame that it seems to CTD on start up. Is there any fix around that? There aren't any mods on the workshop that make low tier units viable in the late game like this sounds like it would.

Hi A.O.M. Was wondering if you would be open to allowing people to make a vanilla version with only units for a specific faction. Reason being it's a lot of work to do all factions at once.
Id love to do this and make a version for empire, while fully crediting you of course (and linking to this mod).

I hope that now that Warhammer III is on the way, you make come back at some point to fix this mod. This was one of my favorite ones for SFO, as simple as it may have been.

Hey! I reaaally love this mod as an addition to SFO, I hope you can update it with the new SFO update release. No worries if you can´t though or if it takes long, thank you for the great mod!
