The MAV M62 series is made to MAV. It is a biggest sold main line Co'Co' wheel arrangement diesel locomotive serial. M62 was prodeced in the Vorosilovgrad Diesel Engine Factory (today: Luhanszki ). MAV ordered these locomotives. Later these type was in the Soviet Union and other socialist countries. Mongolia, Cuba, Poland used these too. These series was in Hungary between 1965 and 1978.
