Binding of Isaac: Four Souls of Light

Four Souls of Light is an in-depth unofficial expansion for Four Souls which draws from Final Fantasy and adjacent titles as source material. Bravely Default takes the majority of representation, and the characters are from Octopath Traveller.

The grand majority of monsters introduced in this expansion are "Jobmasters", who drop an item (an "Asterisk") that grants you their abilities when they're killed. For example, killing the Thief will grant you an Asterisk that has several abilities centred around stealing. You can only have one of these enemy powers at a time, so getting at least one is key!

• 24 Jobmasters with card effects ranging from vanilla to very gimmicky, who create a different kind of threat to the Bosses.
  
  
• 24 Asterisk cards that drop from these Jobmasters, with several effects each reflecting the Jobmaster they come from.
  
  
• 7 characters with their own, Eternal Asterisks, which gives them an early-game boost but makes Jobmasters a worthless target for them.
  
  
• 6 normal Boss monsters, with more to come, in order to keep a sane ratio of Bosses while introducing so many normal monsters.

• All of the images used on cards are taken either from character concept art, promotional material, or screencaps of the ingame models. In cases where an artist has left a signature, it has been moved so that it is NOT obstructed by the other card elements.
  
  
• Thanks to everyone in the #custom-content channel of the Four Souls Discord[discord.gg] for putting up with balance questions and effect brainstorming over this mod's arduous on-and-off 10-month development. Check it out--- it has matchmaking for normal games of Four Souls, so the "random people online" you play with can be juuuust a bit less random!
