IRCK3 - Imperator: Rome to Crusader Kings III Extension mod

A mod that pushes the Imperator: Rome end date to the start of Crusader Kings III.​

Overview
The mod is intended to extend the playtime of Imperator: Rome to the start date of Crusader Kings III, which is 867 AD. The main goal is to prepare the game for a save converter, which is very likely to appear. This means that CK elements like religions and countries are planned to be added.

Added and planned features
- Annual republic elections.
- Christianity: appearance, early heresies and schisms.
- Islam.

Can I help?
Yes, contributions and suggestions are welcome. There are some specific features I need help with, and some that require an artist. Here are some examples:
- Static layer covering Muhammad's portrait for those who want it.
- New late-game unit models, for example a Late Roman one.​

Mod compatibility
The mod is not planned to change a lot of vanilla content, but some vanilla files are edited. Unless you check (for example with a merging tool like WinMerge) if other mod edits the same files, or its authors provide a compatibility patch, you should assume the mod is NOT compatible with IRCK3.
