Blue Mining Research Department was given the design specification of a ship that minimised gforces on pilots while performing extreme aerobatics.

The design they came up with, integrated a gyro system which absorbs sudden direction changes, but otherwise has limited effect on overall G's experienced.

The design can be useful for training pilots in multi axis vectors without actually putting a ship at risk, and as such can also serve as a flight simulator if the rov module is not activated to engage the engines.

Flight testing has also found the gyro cockpit design lends itself well to a curiously cinematic 3rd person camera experience.

Although of limited usefulness this quirky design is quite interesting to toy with, as such they released the blueprints to the public on the conclusion of the research project.
