描述
BeamNG exported vehicles only get downforce from wing fixtures in automation. Normally that means that if you want front downforce you have to try to hide a wing somehow, which can sometimes be a bit of the pain, not anymore with the glass wing.

Just place it, and change the materials to invisible when you're happy with them.

it's okay :) . and dude, don't call yourself useless, the mod was ultra usefull, so i don't think you that made it was useless.

"how did you make the material invisible?" I merely gave it a glass material, glass lets you choose an invisible material.

"any chance this can come to 4.28 beta?" No. I had to format my HDD and I lost everything. And it doesn't seem like I have the UUIDs written down anywhere. So I can't just easily update it, and I can't remake it and then replace this one's UUIDs. It would have to be remade as a new mod

Your best bet is to ask somebody that isn't a useless piece of shit like I am, to make something like this for an updated version

Hey, how did you make the material invisible? I want to do this to other wings because this wing in particular doesn't create much downforce in beamng, and I wanted to use those massive gt wings and make them invisible.

Yes it does have collisions in BeamNG, that's not something I can control AFAIK. If you want to disable collisions on it, it's some basic .jbeam editing which is not hard (just finding the wing's 8 nodes and disabling collisions for those), but it's beyond the scope of this

And spoiler/lip spam will generate downforce in automation but not if exported to BeamNG. Only fixtures from the "wing" category get an aero surface through the exporter, the size according to the fixture's size, and the angle according to the wing angle you chose in automation

Sadly, Unreal Engine for some reason refuses to package this mod again so I can't modify it now to make it easier to grab :/

To avoid making it all invisible and not being able to find it you can:
* Avoid making the little square invisible until you're 100% sure where you want the wing to be
* Mark/remember the square's location
* Use . and , to scroll through fixtures in the car without needing to click on them

You can just put a short row of small spoilers on the hood/front fenders of the car. Those are known as fish gills. That's kind of cheating, but a very efficient way of creating downforce without a lot of drag.
