Role: Asteroid and Deep Space Mining Barge

Developed by Galilean Mining Industrial (GMI) the Pioneer class has been the workhorse for colonial interests for over a decade. Equipped with a pair of remotely piloted mining drones, an Ion/Hydrogen hybrid propulsion system, 2 synchronized Jump Drives and a fully stocked medical deck; the Pioneer allows a crew of four to effectively mine from even the most distant asteroid fields without ever exposing themselves to the hazardous vacuum. An additional landing platform situated on the spine of the ship just beyond the upper airlock provides space for a piloted mining vessel or tug. Bulkheads and dedicated vents ensure every compartment is individually pressurized and sealed reducing atmosphere loss in the event of a hull breach, while the Rec Room just above the bridge provides an array of creature comforts for long journeys including:
A jukebox for music lovers
A Holotable for planning or holovid entertainment
A fully functional kitchen and comfortable seating
The upper bow section also contains an Ore detector suite and communication package, providing fluid real-time control of mining drones up to a distance of 5K! Spotlights recessed into the upper bow and below the main reverse thrusters give illumination for dark-side mining operations. Built in Solar Arrays ensure a Jump recharge rate of only 7 min!

Sales pitch aside, this is my first complete ship in a long time and my first workshop upload. All of the main functions of the ship are vanilla and don't require DLC, however the Rec room and airlock locker room will require the Decoration pack but both of these rooms are purely cosmetic and serve no practical use. Critique and suggestions for improvement welcome.
