It should probably work fine on 1.5, I'd only be changing a version tag. I don't intend to continue updating this when Owls Better Barely Spots does things far better. Speaking of, it seems that mod is entirely simple patches so that should work fine for 1.5 as well.
Maybe you had a bed hidden somewhere so its throwing an error. You should be able to safely ignore the errors, they should vanish after resaving and loading and shouldn't appear again. It's likely just telling you it can't find the beds anymore.
I'm afraid they fall outside of the definition of animals at least according to Rimworld so I don't think it's suitable for my mod. To be honest this mod is basically obsolete with Owlchemist's mods Barely Visible Spots and Barely Restricted Spots. His mods do the same and in a better way. Although I don't think his mods allow human beds to be placed anywhere either.
Can we get these in full size? I have some particularly good slaves who need to be sleeping at the foot of my bed.
I'm sorry to say but I don't support old versions. All I can say is the 1.2 version worked perfectly fine in the past so there should be no reason for it to cause errors.
If its really causing issues you could check out Barely Visible Spots and Barely Restricted Spots. They have a 1.2 version and together should allow the same sort of behaviour.
