The Privateer Class Mod

描述


" Sit right down and 'ave a pint, lad, for the ol' shantyman has a tale to tell of sinnin' and sailin'..."



Having lost his ship and crew to the malevolent seas by the Manor, this shantyman has washed ashore in search of vengeance.
With fiddle in one hand and a bottle o' grog in the other, the Privateer aims to venture into the Darkest of Dungeons.

This all new class mod comes with 5 skins, 7 unique abilities, 3 unique camping skills, 10 class trinkets, customized effects, a town event, and much more!



The Privateer is a mid-row support and stress healer who can be played in a number of ways.
Put him in the front ranks and down some rum to make your Privateer a heavy hitting damage dealer,
or throw him in the back ranks to heal stress and wounds alike!

I am unsure if the Bug is an issue with the Mod or the game itself?
To Clarify: When trying to purchase the camping skill "Shanty Serenade" its icon appears BELOW the "Wound Care" Skill- allowing me to only buy 1 of them.

I went into the files myself to mess around to see if I could figure it out- I couldn't.
But I was able to make a work around in order to fix it (Its still an issue but I was able to purchase the camping skill).

My work around was just deleting every single camping skill from the file / going in game and buying it / backing out of the game and undoing the changes I made.

Again not sure if its a game issue or an issue with the mod at all. (If someone knows otherwise please let me know!)

Small Bug; Cant get the last camping skill at all. 2 of them got put on top of each other so its impossible to click.

do you know of any known incompatibilities? I'm playing with several other class mods and no skill names or descriptions are showing up. I even put in first in mod load order

I feel like class needs some buffs in terms of numbers, maybe remove handicap from pistol, to me he is like 0.5 of dismas

The speed buffs are way too much to make healing worth it (accuracy debuff would make more sense), plus they've got no full damage attacks. I don't see how this would be useful in any role

Ration of grog heals less health and stress then both inspiring tune and divine gracr

I love this class. The idea of a privateer in the game is kind of essential.
It's just that Ration of Grog ability looks a bit OP to me. It heals like vestal's Divine Grace and relief stress almost like Jester's Inspiring Tune.
