Itapemirim (VDL)

Viação Itapemirim S.A. is a Brazilian road passenger transport company, currently considered one of the most traditional in the country and also in Latin America.

Founded on July 4, 1953, in the municipality of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, in Espírito Santo by Camilo Cola, Itapemirim is now consolidated as one of the most used by passengers traveling in Brazil, especially in the Northeast.

It was a pioneer in the use of 3-axis buses in Brazil, which the company itself would later call Tribes. Itapemirim also stands out because it was one of the first in the field of transportation in the country to equip its vehicles with tachographs.

It serves in several capitals of the country having as main destinations the cities of Campina Grande, Feira de Santana, Alagoinhas, Campos dos Goytacazes, Niterói besides its own city of origin Cachoeiro de Itapemirim.
