I cannot find the old 300 Spartans Unit mod, based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller, and Rome 2 without King Leonidas is just simply no fun at all... sooo, in fair use, I've uploaded my custom version, as I've lost the others... Enjoy!

3 Squads:

-300 personal bodyguards, alongside King Leonidas. (limited to only one in campaign)
-Xiphos Squad. (normal sized)
-Hellenic Spear Squad. (normal sized)


Does not require any paid DLC, and is designed for use under a fully patched vanilla Rome 2, however, for maximum enjoyment I recommend the paid blood DLC and whichever blood-mod you decide suits your style. GORA GORA GORA!!!

I think upgrading Sparta actually makes you lose recruitment of these units. But I actually downloaded rome2 again because of this mod lol

bro give them a phalanx so they can use over head grip sub mod!! looks so bad with all other hoplites using over head grip, and the 300 not

@joannemckeirnan Look to the sidebar on this very page>>> and see the Grand Campaign DLC units "Greek States Culture Pack" (Athens, Epirus, Sparta) are required DLC to play as Sparta in the Grand Campaign and your DLC the Wrath of Sparta is a entirely different DLC.

is their not a wraph of sparta version because you cant play as sparta in grand campaign and these units only show up in the grand campaign tab of custom battles
