Enhanced Combat Systems - Missiles
Description
This is the very first part of the Enhanced Combat Systems mod series.
It adds a targeting system similar to the one in other games (like ArmA 3) to Space Engineers.
It also adds guided missiles to the world of space engineers.

Disclaimer
This release is a very early release of the mod. As early access as SE is / was you could say.
So expect bugs, glitches and other magic stuff to happen (and please inform me of those so I can fix them).

Current Features
  • Targeting System from games like ArmA 3!
  • Guided Missiles!
  • Configurable Values for things like Lock-Range, Lock-Angle, Speed, Acceleration and Damage for the targeting system and the missiles themselves!

Planned Features
  • More launchers! I currently only have one but I am working on more!
  • Coutermeasures
  • Other missiles types (Medium and Large)
  • Other missile launchers (other pylon types, armored versions)
  • Other missile guidance types (Like TOW missiles)
  • And more!

I have started to play Space Engineers again and will release a new version of this mod in the future. This workshop entry will stay dead and a new one (with a new name) will be posted. See you soon!

idk if you're still working on this, since it's been over a year since the last update. But if you are, could you consider eventually making turrets also track the target lock?

if you are willing to give the whole combat an overhaul you have with weaponcore guided weapon systems as well as a bunch of other changes cause it will completly alter the combat experience. just take note that you will not only need weaponcore for that but also weaponcore based weaponmods and you shouldnt use it together with other weaponframeworks or vanilla based weapons. the first cause they will figth another and the second cause weaponcore based weapons cant intercept vanilla based ammunitions and vise versa.

Also by having this mod, would NPC ships be equipped with this or just the user?
