Holiday Light [Harder Mode]

You haven't seen your girlfriend in several months; you've been off helping contain the Harran virus. But it's the holiday season - screw the virus! You're going to be with her! You've decided to meet up in your cabin, up in the mountains. But roads are constantly cut off due to snow, and she went ahead, so you have to take another road, and reach the cabin by foot.

You also decided to have Santa deliver the gifts ahead of time, so you wouldn't have to carry them. But Santa drank a bit too much this year and your gifts fell out the sleigh just before he crashed. So your girlfriend's gifts are all scattered in the area.

Find the gifts, reach the cabin and meet up with your girlfriend.

Oh, and fend off the insane amount of infected in the area. Yeah, you let that happen when you decided to take a vacation from containing a zombie outbreak!


Spent a few extra days updating this map, so that it's not so easy to sail through. Here's what i did: removed the ability to pick up rifles, removed searchable loot from all dead bodies, added some very nice snowy horizon mountains around the area, added a few nature audio cues, balanced the loot available throughout the entire map so certain areas become more balanced and difficult, made alterations for one or two areas turning them into a much more engaging and necessary area to explore, and improved the canyon's "happenings" for a better experience.


This is a one-month speed build to make it in-time for the holidays. It's about time the Dying Light community played in the snow! I tried to keep potato computers in mind when editing custom models, but if the game lags a bit, try reducing the graphical settings in Dying Light. I've also added a switch in the map to remove horizons if the game lags.

That said, be sure you try and boost everything to max first, including volumes.
