(BROKEN) Scarlet Hunter Mk. II

NOTICE: Due Counter-Strike 2 replacing CS:GO, this is now riddled with ERRORs. It is with a heavy heart to inform you that this breaks critical components that were necessary for this save.

This is because of a recent update with Lexical's NPC Spawn Platforms. This save was reliant on a bug that allowed anyone to activate the platforms despite said platforms being owned by the World versus the host. That said, the only way to skirt around this would be to redo the entire thing with Wire and honestly that's an extremely messy solution that is more trouble than it's worth. Still works fine in singleplayer.

But... That's a perfectly good reason to start learning Python to do something better than this crap.

HERE WE ARE AGAIN! Welcome back! Hopefully Scarlet Hunter's lackluster presentation didn't scare you away! Clearly, if you're here, you remained faithful. To that, I am very thankful and have made absolutely sure to put an emphasis on "overdelivery".

For our new friends (and salty Scarlet Fanboys), here's a quick Q&A for Scarlet Hunter Mk. II:

WHY THE ♥♥♥♥ DID THE FIRST SCARLET HUNTER SUCK SO MUCH ♥♥♥?
Well, you see... the original Scarlet Hunter was a lot more ambitious than it turned out to be when it was published. It was stuck in development cycle hell and I barely had the time to bother with it. This made me feel extremely self-conscious as I treat the RHS series as a reflection of my ability to create content. Scarlet Hunter Mk. II strives to be the most elaborate Scarlet Hunter ever made to make up for last year's blunder. This is what RHS was supposed to be.

Well, at least that's what the plan is. I do have a wonderful little treat in store for you all next year to celebrate REMILIA HUNTING SIMULATOR's 5th year anniversary, but this is the last original Scarlet Hunter game I plan on making for the Source Engine. Why's a bit of a secret, but I don't want to get all of your hopes up in case it doesn't happen!

So... Scarlet Hunter Mk. II is not a singleplayer game anymore. It's focused on being a multiplayer game. This might come off as strange as RHS has always primarily been a singleplayer game first. This game is playable singleplayer, but I have set the amount of NPCs to accommodate for servers of 4 or more players.

IT TOOK WELL OVER 3 YEARS FOR THE WITCHING HOUR TO COME OUT, WHAT GIVES, ♥♥♥♥ER?
If I was going to do it, I was going to do it right. And I did. You're welcome.

As always, here's a quick rundown of a few things you should know.

1. This is a multiplayer game. You play it with your friends.

2. It is customary to laugh at butthurt fanboys of the Scarlet Devil Mansion who rant about this series' existence here.

3. Your framerate is going to suffer. Because of a lack of certain features with NPC spawn platforms, this is the best I can do to achieve the game I have wanted to make.

4. There was a standalone scenario to be made with VRMod in mind, but the idea was scrapped upon realizing how buggy VRMod is. Sorry, as much as I want to, VRMod will not work with SHMKII or any previous RHS title.

5. Your game. Your rules. What is defined as "cheating" and "fair" is entirely up to you. The only hard-set rule is that you must kill every NPC.

6. The Basement has been reworked completely to be much more user friendly with a touch of flair that matches the theme of the area you've entered from.

Frankly I would rather you not play this, period. It's a bloated mess that runs at like 10 frames, tops, no matter what hardware you're running on. If you want to put this in your video, I genuinely do not care.
