Snowy Climate

描述
Adds a new climate to the dropdown options in custom settings. This mod only reuses textures that already existed in the game's files.

I couldn't figure out a way to overlay the texture onto existing models, if anyone has any clues I'd love to know :)

You can replace all the vanilla trees, just like what Gloomy Autumn does.

This looks pretty great, it'd probably look even better without the random tan rocks though.

Just as it started snowing here I find this. Perfect timing.

I would've loved to do the snow like that, covering buildings and trees. However this was done as a fun experiment with swapping just ground textures around and I couldn't find a way to correctly overlay a snow texture upon loading the regular textures. Hopefully someone more skilled at texture art will come along and make a good snow mod like for TpF1.

It looks great with the white ground, but to me there's one thing missing to this and that's the all the trees not having shed their leaves. Leaf trees shed their leaves in the fall and pretty much look like this throughout the winter.

This isn't a map, simply a custom climate. My map *generator* also took a lot of work and learning how the game's code handles it. Also creating 3D models is an entirely different set of skills from programming.
