Were you ever annoyed that all the taxis roaming your city and queueing at stands look exactly alike? Downloading custom assets were not an option, because real life vehicles look odd mixed with default C:S cars? You didn't want to change whole fleet of your vehicles to custom ones for uniformity?

Fear no longer. I present you a vanilla style Taxi Minivan.

It's meant to complement default vanilla taxi.It's a vanilla prison transport van, retextured to look like vanilla Taxi. Has passanger capacity of 7, instead of default 4. (I've got no idea if it actually does anything).

I will be retexturing other default vehicles, to give more variability to default service vehicles. Stay tuned.

If you have any suggestions what other vanilla service vehicles should I make, post it down in the comments section.


Big thanks to vanilla style vehicles collection and its creator Sparky66 for ignoring me when I asked him to make Minivan Taxi Cab, thus forcing me to make one myself :P

Ah, tis a shame. Would have really went down a treat with those district policies. Thanks for looking into it, though. Modding this game is proving tricky for me too. Nothing like Sims 4. Currently trying to get a DeLorean to fly, as a blimp alternative, but not the same crazy bobbing about malarkey. Got it half right so far, but there's always more to do to finesse the mess. Cheers, Failer. Still looking forward to your other upcoming releases.

@Spear1222 unfortunately, it's not possibile to make an electric taxi. Electric vehicles are created by selecting ''self sufficent residential'' flag on a car. And I can't select both ''residential'' and ''taxi'' flags. At least I don't know any way to do so. So unfortunately, I can't make an electric taxi.

Ye, why not. I've got a bunch of taxis ready to publish (I've learnt on my mistakes, and I'm testing them for any bugs, before publishing, unlike last time :p) so I'll just add electric to the pack.
I just need a good model. On the top of my head, I think I'll just use a vanilla hatchback, and make it electric. Isn't that what most car makers do anyway? :D

I came to Workshop looking to see if anyone has converted one of the game's electric cars into a taxi. Found your good works here, (Liked, Faved and Subbed.) but no electric Skylines taxis to be had. They would be great in game for servicing areas with the "Electric Cars Only" and "No Combustion Engines" district policies. So yeah, seeing as it would be right up your ally, I'd like to request if you could do a vanilla style electric car taxi?

Yes, but it's Christmas time, and I'm at my mom's place, and I don't have a laptop to take it with me. I'll be doing some new vehicles next weekend. I'm planning to do about 3-5 vehicles for each taxi, police, ambulances, fire department, and maybe something more.
