Egon's Simple Mods: Floating Structures

A shout-out to the nice folk at Dragon Claw Modding[www.dragonclawmodding.com] for their assistance in getting this (admittedly small) mod out. Give them a visit, as they're behind some of the absolutely fantastic mods for this game.

If you need structures that will make a bridge without that nasty "Too high above ground" message, or without that "Structure requires foundation support" message - this is the mod for you.

That's all it is - a pillar and a ceiling, reconfigured to be place-able over chasms and at hilarious altitudes. All items also function as foundations.

I take no responsibility for the resultant state of your game and/or server. ;-)





After spawning, you may be unable to place the objects. Restart your game and rejoin - you'll be able to place new ones. If some items still fail to place for you and you're on a dedicated server, you may need to restart your dedicated server.

If at any point you run completely out, you may need to repeat these steps to be able to place them - so stock up.

This may also happen randomly. As far as I understand, this is a bug somewhere between the DevKit and the game engine. The fix for it is kinda involved, so forgive me for not doing it. ;-)
