描述

The new version of the IFRIT designed by S.M.A.R.T. Industries for combat operations. This new version comply to all game restrictions (Flight Model, CPU, open Exhaust Path, Mass ...).

Update jun 2020 :
-Adapted the interior design to the new armor locker.
-Renamed "ECO mode" by "Precision Mode".

Tips :

Change your weapon selection after each shoot to improve your DPS.
You're allowed to make your own modifications to focus on PVP, PVE, transport ...

Fully agree with every word of that, and have said so in the feedback forums. :) From what I can tell, asking here and in the official forums, nobody is building SVs that are big/heave enough to need any of the 3*X*3 size thrusters. They put out too much thrust, use too much fuel, and cost too much CPU, to be useful for the SV types that people are actually building. I miss them, since they look amazing but I've had to replace them with worse-looking smaller ones on my ships, purely for performance reasons.

Thank you @drysdan. Unfortunately devs don't want to hear anything about the balance of the big thrusters. They are designed to be installed on large SV but paradoxically they limit the building capacity because of their CPU consumption. Moreover, thrusters do not adjust their power consumption according to their use. Normally once the ship has reached its cruising speed it does not need to use all its power so it should consume less, but is not the case.

She is a bit of a fuel hog, though. A whole fusion cell added about 3 minutes to the fuel timer, when just hovering on a .96G world, with shields off. That's just how it is with the new thruster costs, though.

Love it, and I love how you managed an 'internal' external cockpit. I did the same in one of my SVs and it was a fun challenge, but I really like it. Well done!
