[UPDATE] A new version of this road with different traffic signals is now available. This one will remain for anyone who prefers it but due to certain technical issues will not receive updates in the future.

N.A.R.L. = North American Roads Liberated

I have long been a fan of KraIstGerecht's North America+ texture pack for Roads United https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=763684437 but the core mod has been abandoned and a number of bugs make it sub optimal. With KraIstGerecht's permission I have endeavored to bring his textures to modern C:SL in the form of custom networks using the built-in tools that were not available when Roads United was first conceived. This is the first road in that project.

This road has the exact same stats as the default small 2-lane road. In every manner except looks it should function identically. I have omitted the bridge elevation to reduce file size.

New American Traffic Lights (vanilla side) is required to see the traffic signals but does not need to be activated. If you need to cut down on RAM usage you may be able to disable the signals you don't need in the asset manager.

New version up at https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1967308206 . Decided to use the grey traffic lights going forward because there are more options in that pack.

I noticed an issue with the traffic lights at non 90 degree intersections and i fixed it internally but it bricked my save so I'm not releasing it until I can figure out how to update roads without running into this issue.

This is awesome. I wish I knew how to make traffic lights. I would be making Ontario and Quebec style if so. Thanks for this!

Thank you for the encouragement. I plan to convert most or all of the North America+ roads the same way. My priority is the most used ones first, so the basic large and medium roads should be ready fairly soon. Variations with different traffic lights may happen eventually, Delta, but aren't a priority at the moment. If you desire something specific though and don't want to wait I would absolutely encourage you to mess around in the road editor and see if you can do it yourself. Just changing the traffic light models is pretty simple once you know what you are looking at.
