The ultimate Neuroshima Hex! experience, in 2.0 edition, including Monolith Arena too!

This mod is the result of far too many hours of passionate rational work to gather and render accessible a large amount of the many fan-made armies for Neuroshima Hex!, as well as redesigning the 3.0 and Monolith Arena armies with the more practical and efficient 2.0 visuals. While the mod targets the game's fans, veterans and connoisseurs (knowing the rules beforehand would help), a tile's abilities and functions will be described when you hover over it.


Designer's Notes

Some minor rule and icon tweaks were made when necessary to guarantee optimal gameplay and compatibilities.
Exemple: Steel Police's module "Net of Steel Launcher" has been renamed as "Ability Disinhibitor" and now affects every allied ability with a sub-icon, which makes more sense and is more interesting as well. Visible in 8th picture.

In some cases, a few changes were performed to a fan-made army, usually to balance it in a better way while still trying to remain true and as close as possible to the original intent and flavor.
Exemple 1: United Europe has always been considered as too strong by the community since it had a large number of effective units. I just toned down its common Soldiers initiative by 1, while the Snipers and Grenadiers had their initiatives raised to level 2, ensuring they're also valuable outside of their offensive entry ability. With these changes, the faction still overwhelms its enemies but they have more chances to beat UE in a fair way.
Exemple 2: Guild of the Gladiators' module "Mentor" has received a Toughness point, considering its importance and role in the army. It remains a fragile element, but will feel more consistent and useful in a game.

In other rare cases though, changes were made to render an army more unique.
Exemple 1: Beasts army felt too dull sometimes. Many tiles were just animals with various melee attacks and initiative levels, without any special mechanics. Some units were tweaked to receive abilities or a more coherent initiative level.
Exemple 2: Zombies army is actually my own take on the theme, since there already existed two fan-made version of that very same idea and very similar tiles. My version mixes theirs but also uses new mechanics brought by Death Breath. They get a very unique HQ and gameplay thanks to this.

Overall changes were still rare, for the better, and tested extensively. Of course, any feedback is welcome, but most armies are still identical or 99% close to original, so I probably won't touch them.
I may write somewhere which armies may need some further tweaks and playtests though.
New armies, tiles & bonus/reward tokens may be added in the future.
I will also share my files later on for those who would like to print them.

The Notebook says the official rulebooks have been included around the table but I can't find them.

They were not removed. I didn't have the necessary layers for Mephisto modules, and I've not worked on the new Sand Runners yet!
