Grenwold

Version 1.0

A hilly map split in two by the river Wold, Grenwold provides the player with plenty of challenge to get resources from difficult to access locations to the factories where they will be processed. Most of those factories are located inside towns and provide an extra challenge to connect to your transportation network.

The town of Southwold sits on the southern bank of the Wold where the Grenwold starts to give way to more arid terrain.
Sitting on the edge of both the smaller Solde River as well as the Wold provides it with plenty access to food imported from downstream, where the breadbasket of the Grenwold provides the region with Corn and Grain.

A major export of the Grenwold is not it's food though, it's the lumber from its many forests and steel forged with the mountains riches that provide the Grenwold with a large potential supply of tools and machinery.

If not for the great difficult terrain the Grenwold would have been rich already. Now that new methods of transportation are being developed, will you turn this potential into reality?

Warning in advance, the terrain and spread out resources don't make for the easiest starts. Don't give up if you don't figure one out. I have play tested this and it is definitely possible to have a good and profitable start.
Remember that you get more efficiency out of straight routes with little change in height, distance isn't an issue on its own as you earn more for sending goods a long way.
