Y33TP0D - Compact Escape Pod Module

Y33TP0D
Compact Escape Pod Module

Features:
- Fit in 1x1x2 large grid space
- Can deploy horizontal or vertical
- Can auto pilot toward set coordinate: can be either planet or space station
- Smart auto launch sequence (script by me)
- Auto parachute deployment in atmosphere
- Top tier emergency kit includes tools, weapon, ammo, 2x medkit, 2x power kit
- (New) Now include survival kit construction components
- Design for survivability in mind

How to:
- Switch between forward mode and downward mode: access Y33TP0D - Programmable Block, type down or forward in argument box then press run. Check for changes on debug screen.
- Change pod destination: access Y33TP0D - Remote Control, remove old coordinate, select new coordinate from GPS locations tab, then press Add. Toggle Auto Pilot option on and off to see changes on debug screen.

Note:
- Drop pod coordinate is player created GPS location.
- Configure your pod before pasting it onto your ship, including pod launch direction, pod destination.
- Pod does not have ability to stop in space yet, turn auto pilot back on when approaching space station, or manually control the pod (will be updated by script in the future)
- Pod might miss planet destination due to gravity, (will be updated by script in the future)

Not the most compact I've seen but its a good start. I like that this one isnt reliant on the main ship to still be powered like my versions...

Actually you can do stuff. But its going to be hard. Kill wolves and run to random signal to get stuff

You cant do nothing without survival kit on board :), is SE .

Understand , but if you escape , you die without oxigen in space and you cant build anything on ground outerway :) All good for me but this escape pod cant help survive in singleplay, mayby in multiplayer with friends help :) Good luck.

@julekBombon hmmm good question. This escape pod is used for emergency only. Your ship is exploding, you need to evacuate, land somewhere and wait for rescue. You can set destination for the pod to some space station that can provide more survivability. I might do some upgrade in the future, but this for now cannot function as a survival drop pod

Hi.All good but how you build you first assebler in survival if you have only tools?
