How to use in Freeplay

Click Free Game
Click Play Map (top right corner)
Select "UK & Ireland 6k Experimental"
Enjoy!

Map Details:

This map contains hand placed Cities in approximate locations and some reasonable spacings.
Industries and cargo demands are auto-generated.

I have purposefully left some cities disconnected from others, something for you to do when you can afford it. Also, YAY - Finally no stupid bridges from England/Wales to Ireland (like there was in TPF1)

The time progression might be paused, click the date (lower right) to change to your preferred setting.

Don't like something.. use sandbox mode or the map editor.

i was developing Birmingham as god intended and i was thinking maybe i should do something with London.

I am currently editing this map to make it so all (road) vehicles drive on the left...I had to delete all the roads and all the towns (because they all want to drive on the right otherwise - except on new roads - which gets interesting...). I am making some additions, towns etc and may detail it up a tiny bit but mainly I think i will give a bit of thought to the industries and placements. I am not sure whether i should go for the modded industries - or if anyone thinks that might be more appropriate?? I am also planning to keep tree numbers fairly low for the sake of my ailing laptop. A wonderful UK map on steam workshop to start this with though...with a good starting depiction of the UK - including the Isle of Wight - so thank you very much.

I appreciate your hard work in making this map mate thankyou, if anybody is struggling to find the settings/folder to alter the parameters to allow experimental maps just go to options > advanced options and then there is an option to open your app data folder without searching. Hope this helps and thanks again.
