I used invisible locomotives, may not be realistic but at least wont ruin the look.

@Kittyraww You have to attach a locomotive to the rear. The control car has no drive of its own.

How do i use it? When i add it to my train is says "no locomotive" It won't let me use them without adding a locomotive to the front which looks quite odd.

Ich muss jetzt mal dumm fragen für welche Wagen sind die Steuerwagen ? Ich habe IC/IR wagen aber da ist die Farbe etwas anders.
