Project Gaming City

Intended for 30+ players, this sprawling metropolis is complete with skylines, ghettos, military bases, event areas, almost thirty unique interiors, secrets, and a subway transport system. This Broke Protocol map is the largest to date release of any map currently available on the Steam Workshop, more than four times the size of the default map, and the result of hundreds of accumulative hours of development balanced with the feedback of one of the biggest Broke Protocol servers at the time it was active.

With the shutdown of the Project Gaming server, this is our gift to both that community and Broke Protocol at large. After so much effort was put into this map and so many hours were spent playing it, we didn't want that investment to go to waste.

This map was initially created by the player YourPalPayPal, who oversaw the first 80+ hours of development. He developed the first and only custom map for the server and laid out the foundational ground-work for each suburb, and the two key halves of the city. This was a huge undertaking and we're thankful for the time he invested to make the map possible.

Later into the servers life, the player TENTACLE BOSS took over the maps development, and worked with the community to respond to player feedback, tweak the balance of the map, expand older areas, fix visual artifacts, and added new features such as a strip club, car lots, military incursions, the subway transport system, numerous other interiors and two new racing areas.

Over the course of 2019 up until the servers demise, this map went through numerous revisions and extensive play-testing on a level that wouldn't be available to a single developer, and the changes made over the maps development cycle would be too extensive to list. We're immensely proud of our work and we hope that you will appreciate our efforts and contribution to the BP community. You can use the map on your own servers, modify it, play it in single player, so long as you enjoy it. Due to the maps tremendous size, it is highly recommended that you play with a large amount of players for an optimal experience.
