The IEC Lunar Mining Rover with Forward Excavation is a robust mining rig. Cheaper to operate than flying excavation machines, this Rover is equiped with 4 fuel tanks and ample battery power for extended service times. Built for the rough terrain of lunar landscapes, this rover sports an independent 12x12 drive system with variable height suspension and free rotating wheel carriages. Loaded or empty, the drive system provides full drive power with zero thrusters while at the same time navagating the uneven soil of an open mining pit. Two internally protected large cargo containers allow for adequate storage capacity, with a dorsal connector for refueling and ore retrieval or a rear ejector system for quick ore dumping. Grind down mining faces with ease using the adjustable drill system from the comfort of a fully life supported cockpit.
