描述
Summary
This Mod expands the available list of names of ships for all countries within the Entities data files using WWII Naval historical data.

With this mod you should never see the same ship names ever again.

Note
This mod may currently cause performance issues when using Time Compression ( working of fix)

Details

Every ship name is an actual ship that saw service during WWII.
Contains over 15,000 ship names for 30+ countries.
Many ships included in this mod were sunk during Naval battles or Uboats during WWII and will accurately only appear in the game during the time the vessel was in service.
Many ship names are assigned to the appropriate vessel classes available in game. However in many cases I had to fill in or guess this appropriate vessel class.
Note
This Mod is incompatible with Uboat Expanded. Data contained within this mod is already present in UBE.
This mod is not compatible with previous saves.

Don't you need a blueprint to upgrade to 2A to 2D anyways? Are you sure this mod is responsible?

Just FYI, if you install this on latest release it removes ability to upgrade from Type 2A to 2D (U4 start), at least in the first few months of the war, whether this mod changes availability of the type (it wasn't available until 1940 IRL) I don't know but this doesn't seem to be the purpose of this mod so I can only assume it breaks the upgrade.

So I did try it out and it appears to work great. Without its supporting friends though, the particular wonderfulness of it does fall short in terms of named ships will appear in spots where perhaps you wouldnt expect them to be, but it still does its job and I mean after all, this is altered history anyway. It's way better than the alternative. Every freighter ive sunk tonight has been researchable by name to learn of its real life fate and each one has also been assigned to the proper class ship.

now that the additional assets mods work again, i'm going to try this, just for the hell of it and hope that maybe it works in some sort of serviceable way. regardless, i'll post back here since im sure others are wondering

That was a old name deconfliction technique I used. I found the record and fixed it. Will see about finding others. And will post an update at some point in the future
