Built for Zero-G's November challenge.

The MCRN-Sparrow is a CPU tier 1 scout ship designed to be inexpensive but also containing many survival features. The ship takes advantage of the new flight model and uses minimal amount of thrusters set up in a different way. This ships needs an open area in front of it so it can take off much like an airplane. It is also very fuel efficient and can do 70 ms on planets and can be used in space. This ship flies different from all other creations I made to date, so it may take a bit of getting used too. Something like runways is a great idea for using this ship. To take off, throttle up and start to lift off the ground. Once air borne, steer using standard turning while pitching in the direction you wish to turn.

General features

It comes with 4 gatling guns and 1K ammo storage, 4K standard storage, o2, armor locker, and fridge. It has extra room inside the hull for more parts. This area is however not accessible without removing a block or in creative mode. It also has WiFi and a detector. It has exterior lights controlled by the P menu "Exterior lights" control.

Offense and Defense

The ship is built with steel however the outer wing areas are carbon substrate. It has 4 gatling guns and 1K ammo storage. It is not really intended for much fighting but an ambitious pilot could try tactical air strikes on POI defenses keeping a high rate of speed in attempt to avoid getting hit.
