Situation is as follows:

09:15 AM - Eight suspicious individuals are seen entering the Palmetto state bank
09:41 AM - Bank central alarm engaged and police respond
09:50 AM - Gunshots reported at site of robbery
10:06 AM - Six armed individuals are seen leaving the bank into an unmarked white fleet van, police pursue
10:30 AM - State calls on FBI for tactical and logistical support
11:00 AM - Hostiles spotted forcing entry into housing 8 km from bank site
11:54 AM - HRT reach outer perimeter for briefing by local and state police

Four confirmed hostages:
J.Matthews, 35 yr old male, Blonde hair, Fair skin
P.David, 27 yr old male, Black hair, Dark skin
L.Simpson, 29 yr old female, Dark hair, Fair skin
A.Patterson, 22 yr old male, Red hair, Fair skin

Six confirmed hostiles addressed by threat:
- Two low threat
- Two armed with rifles
- Two heavily armoured and armed with rifles

Six unconfirmed hostiles

Negotiations have broken down, state and local government authorise HRT action
