"During the period of the Crusades, Turcopoles were locally recruited mounted archers and light cavalry employed by the Byzantine Empire and the Crusader states."




Ever wanted to see Christianized Horse Archers fight off the various Muslim Holy Orders in defense of the Kingdom of Jerusalem or Byzantium?


Turcopoles is a small mod that adds two new Christian Holy Orders for the Eastern Orthodoxy and the Catholics

They will spawn when the Kingdom of Jerusalem is owned by a Catholic/Orthodox Ruler

turcopoles are romanized turks that living mostly in anatolia under byzantine so basically they are sons of turkic guy with greek wife
