Skymafia

Inspired by Trouble In Terrorist Town and Two Rooms and Boom, Skymafia is a custom hidden roles gamemode Intended for role-playing and organized chaos, though public online play can work if everyone's into it.

Players are divided into two groups: civilians and mafia members. Each group must eliminate the other to win. Mafia remembers are always a minority, but they are equipped with sniper rifles. One civilian gets a special role called The Gambler, who also receives a sniper rifle.

Once you get the hang of the basic game, try playing with The White Team, a group of misfits, each with their own independent goals.

Skymafia requires a minimum of 5 players. Optimally, you should have more than 7-8 players. Therefore, it's best to set up a group of friends to play with beforehand. Mics are EXTREMELY recommended.


As this is a custom gamemode with a lot of moving parts, admins should expect some manual command typing, including manually restarting the game, setting timers, and forcing everyone into one team.

First, on room creation, disable Match Mode.

Second, carefully read the rules written in the spawn room. Not only so you could understand the game better, but because they outline some very important admin commands you should input for an optimal experience (including /lifecheck 0, which disables the game restarting when someone new joins, or when a whole team dies).

Lastly, since the game (that being Intruder) does not know which role each player was given, surviving players should head to the SW corner of the map (behind the scaffolding) and hit the 'Mafia won/Mafia lost' buttons to end the match.


As you may have noticed, Skymafia was released in a bit of a prototype state. Due to various life reasons, I myself will not be regularly updating this map. Instead, I'm releasing it as an open source project for all, from those who want to see how it works to others who wish to improve it or make their own version.
