Zeus

The Zeus character didn't debut in a WWF ring - he appeared first in the movie No Holds Barred alongside WWF star Hulk Hogan in 1989. Zeus appeared in the WWF later that year, upset with Hogan that he was defeated in the movie. Zeus got his chance to get even in real life at SummerSlam, but fell short as Hogan pinned the monstrous Zeus in a tag match that also involved Brutus Beefcake and Randy Savage.

Zeus stuck around through the end of the year, continuing his feud with Hogan through Survivor Series and a No Holds Barred PPV.

Zeus resurfaced briefly in WCW in 1996 as Z-Gangsta.
