I made the mistake of using the WOTC SDK to build the mod, so it didn't work in vanilla XCOM. I had to work backwards and recreate it in the standard SDK. lesson learned.

just a heads up for you in future to save you the trouble; Voicepacks mods are universal between WotC and vanilla, you don't need separate versions.
