Spooky Halloween Land

描述
A halloween themed map with multiple time pieces to collect. The map was made in the spirit of gameplay in games like Super Mario 64, where there are multiple stars (timepieces in this case) to collect, but you can collect them in any order you want. Most of the time pieces are also simple enough to collect, by following a specific path where each time piece is located in. This differs slightly from the normal free roam in for example, the alpine skyline, as here you can see all of the acts in the act select screen from the start. By choosing a specific act, you see the loading screen picture and intro cutscene showing you where that specific acts time piece is at.


Contains the following time pieces to collect:


Act 1: Ghostly Time Pieces

Act 2: Climbing the Clock Tower

Act 3: Secret of the Graveyard

Act 4: Sneaking through the Farm

Act 5: Mountain Travel

Act 6: Haunted Ship


If the map causes any crashing issue, please comment below. I had 1 random crash while testing that I couldn't recreate, so I'm not sure if its related to the map or not.

This was a well made map. Nice lighting, variety, pacing, with some new ideas thrown in. Each element seemed meticulously placed, but not so densely that it was overwhelming. I liked this one.

I'm a few months late... but I LOVED this map, especially the Graveyard Time Piece. Simpsons Hit and Run has a godlike soundtrack and I adored the fact the Level 7 theme was used for that mission, heck, EVERY piece of music used here set the tone beautifully, really sold the whole "Halloween" theme.

I'm also awarding this map the "Mustache Seal of Approval", those who wish to take Playable Mustache Girl into this mod, know that you will be able to get "almost" every Time Piece with her, the Clock Tower has those "Straight Up" Ice Platforms that MG can't clear with her Ice Bombs, but apart from that every other Time Piece is smooth sailing.

9/10 I still come back on occasion JUST for the soundtrack, and the levels accompanying them make it enjoyable each time.

This was surprisingly good. Definitely one of the best mods to come out of the Halloween jam. I found travelling to the cannons in Act 6 a little annoying on repeated deaths but there wasn't anything too frustrating with that to detract from my enjoyment of the mod overall.
