Since your car is now of no use, you rent a camper-van from a conveniently located garage the other side of the bridge and pack all your tools for the inevitable bridges you must construct on your way through the Meadows. Except the next bridge needed is banked by solid rock; no way you're getting any sort of support from them. To make things worse, you drop your only sustainable supply of water in the river. You also know you must retrieve it.
