Behold!

Kill icons...for EVERYTHING in GMod, including Half-Life 2, episode 1 & 2 , Half-Life: Source, Portal, and Portal 2! :D

This addon will not replace pre-existing kill icons, only adds icons that should exist.




I also made kill icons for various weapons from the Steam Workshop -->zoop

Q: There's already kill icons in GMod. why'd ya make more?

A: Because I got tired of seeing the skull and crossbones :P

Q: You replaced the prop_ragdoll kill icon. Why did you lie about not replacing existing kill icons?

A: I did not expect Facepunch to officially add more kill icons, so I made these prior them adding stuff. Also the official kill icon for the prop_ragdoll is the same as prop_physics, so that's the only kill icon I'm replacing.

Q: How do you receive the kill icon for the medkit or anything that you couldn't ordinarily kill someone with?

A: Step on a cockroach from Half-Life: Source, use a kicking addon, or use an overpowered weapon.

Q: Can you add a kill icon for head-shots?

A: I know how to add kill icons for weapons and entities, but I don't know how to do situational kill icons like head-shots and falling to one's doom. I'm sorry. :( If I knew how to I would definitely would.

Q: Someone already made kill icons.

A: Yes, but those kill icons don't really have everything. Also, not a question.

Q: What's stopping me from just using the AutoIcon addon?

A: Does AutoIcon have an icon for fire? Doors? Weapons from Half-Life: Source? No? If you can live without that, then you good to go!

Q: ASIGHAIHGDKALHKHGAKGS?

A: No

What if you can use a menu in the toolgun menu that can choose the chair icon or the other icon.
Just a thought.

hey bill, learned another thing with the hls icons, if an HLS npc from that HALF LIFE SNPCS addon kills someone the icon works perfectly

its fine, i guess the monster hitscan users are broken because they dont have a weapon unlike npcs like rebels, also yeah if they have a weapon it works fine

Unfortunately, this will fall under situational kills. If I knew how to do those (Ex. falling to one's doom) I would certainly do it. But for now, there's gonna be a lot of question marks. Sorry.

it happens for all of the hitscanners, i messed with it and learned that when it's a Monster vs Monster kill, it uses the worldspawn icon
