Evil [alpha beta very test]

This is a beta!. This release is intended to help with finding bugs and working out issues in the gamemode before the official release. Please note there will be bugs, and please report them if you do see them (see links below).


Evil is a spooky gamemode for Garry's Mod inspired by Stop it Slender and Slender Fortress 2.
In this gamemode, one player will be chosen to be the Boss, and the rest of the players will be humans; one powerful, invincible Boss will be pitted against the rest of the server in a scary fight to win the game.

The Boss will be one of many characters, each with their own appearance, behavior, traits, and abilities, and must seek out the humans and kill them before they can defeat the Boss.

The humans must seek out hidden pages and work with each other to win. Some humans may be their own class with distinct advantages (or disadvantages) which puts a spin on how the game is played. Cooperation is key to winning!

Evil aims to be easy to configure, and makes it as easy as possible for you to add your own maps and your own bosses to the game to make sure no games are the exact same.

Built-in support exists for these maps:
evil_forest (renamed slender_forest due to some technical issues)
slender_ravine
gm_shambles
slender_sbahj_the-maop (not really recommended)
More maps will be added!

In the future, we aim for there to be:
- more gametypes (as in ways to play other than just the classic 8 pages)
- more maps
- more content (the facilities are in place for allowing infinite bosses while keeping single-join download sizes small)
- and whatever else we (or you) can think of!
