"Sweet" Stan Lane is most known for being part of three successful tag teams - The Fabulous Ones, The Midnight Express, and The Heavenly Bodies.

Over the course of his career, Lane held tag titles in multiple NWA territories, including Jim Crockett Promotions, the USWA, and the CWA. Lane and Bobby Eaton, as The Midnight Express, held the NWA World Tag Team Championship briefly in 1988.
