Can recommend this mission very much. The setting and introduction are very straightforward. No long briefing texts, and you get to choose where you spawn with a very cool interactive plane insertion. There's no arsenal that stops the action with dressing up. No option to grab overpowered weapons. It's just you and your partner scouting in enemy territory.
There's a unique interaction where you weigh spending half an hour sneaking on foot to objectives, versus stealing enemy vehicles but risk being detected. The side objectives, such as meeting scouts to reduce search area or para-dropped equipment, are plausibly helpful but not required.
Enemies and locations were randomly generated without awkwardness. There were no unrealistic periods of emptiness nor constant running. Also no noticeable bugs after all these years.
This mission has been well tested and robustly built. It plays a bit like a free version of the Global Mobilization Force Recon mission, without requiring the purchase of GM.
You're right, thanks for pointing it out.
