I am in total agreement as well. I personally prefer the default races. They are all very interesting and I do not dislike a single one of them at all (I lmyself really like the Florans^^.)
As for the Avali *Race* This has gotten way too out of hand. At first, it was a mod and I was fine with it. But then they started taking over the community and then started to pollute it with gross and toxic stuff.

There is a big difference between people who just play as an avali and people who ROLEPLAY them, with all lore shit.

I like how there's people here doing like nazi references against people who likely just pick up avalis cause they look cute, only for other people to turn around and say "hmpf, well ACTUALLY it's the avali that are space nazis as referenced on page 395 in avali lore and hng ACTUALLY it's..."

Idk, the ms.paint OCs are kinda annoying. Suppose that's more just about the way people make this stuff in general though and not what they're making it for.

I like how the Avali look (So cute~). It's the thing with space-hippie "everybody get along now" humans that annoys me.

the idea is that a good chunk of the group that uses the mod religiously defends it and the details of the race, or that an alarmingly large chunk of people are stingy in general

the joke is less of a joke and more of a trolling thing tbh. if such a large chunk of the community wasn't so easily bothered / didn't act like they're hot shi­t, the issue would basically not exist. it's not a thing of furry bashing (because let's face it, if you wanna go furry bashing, there's FAR better targets than avali) but instead just pi­ssing around with the people who have a tendency to act the way they do. from what i know the size of the population that does this has been decreasing over time, so at least there's that

I still dont understand the whole avali joke... Is it just because its one of the million races that could be connected to furries? And even so, isnt that also just mean? :D
