Spawn of Frankenstein.

After the climatic battle between Frankenstein's monster and Baragon, the leftover flesh scattered from the battle would regrow into two new monsters.

Sanda, the brown gargantua,was raised by humans and grew into a human friendly nomad that traverses the japanese mountains, keeping his distance from humanity.

Gaira, the green gargantua, grew into a bloodthirsty sea-giant after he regenerated in the deep ocean feeding on plankton and fish, and eventually journeyed onto land in search of easier prey.

The difference between the two, despite being "brothers", would inevitably draw them into a War of the Gargantuas.

Truely an example of Nature vs Nuture.
