nWo Sting

During a feud between Sting and nWo, an imposter Sting attacked WCW's Lex Luger in an attempt to drive a wedge between the two allies.

At Fall Brawl 1996, the fake Sting arrived as the last member of the nWo team during the main event War Games match. The real Sting arrived shortly after as the last member of the WCW team.

The fake Sting helped drive the real Sting towards his famous crow gimmick, after being confirmed as an imposter, continued to wrestle as nWo Sting.

Thanks to WCW's connection with NJPW, nWo Sting joined nWo Japan. He stayed with the group for a few years before leaving and changing his name to Super J.
