Hello and welcome to the Lava Red Rocks Theme. I'm the YouTuber BonBonB and you're very very welcome!

Until now there hasn't been a realistic way of representing live volcanoes in the game. So I've been working with the help of a couple of the BonBonBuddies to put together a couple of maps and themes to make this new vision come to life.

This first theme is intended to be dark, with volcanic ash blackening the soil,

While you are welcome to use any visual settings you desire there are a few recommended settings should you wish to match up with the images above.

Ultimate Eye Candy


Relight
Set Gamma to 0.3
All other settings to 0
All buttons at the bottom switched ON

Chiaroscuro

Cubemap Replacer
Mud Road, from the HDRI Haven Cubemap Pack


There's a tutorial coming real soon to show you how to have the appearance of live flowing lava.

I have tried the Theme - and it looks really good without the light settings too --- it is a bit like Colorado/Arizona mountain areas. Very pretty colours.

Hey Speedtraxx.
I really did enjoy your map, but this one was already in development. The BonBonBuddies started looking into this several months ago, and I came in a few weeks back. I did worry that your map and this one might clash but we've taken completely different approaches to the live lava.
