Orbital Station - Valdian Spire [vanilla]

The engineering team at VMS are happy to introduce you to the Valdian Spire, a low performance cost orbital trade station.
Our primary parts supplier, Keen Hardware House, has issued a station design competition and this is our reply. With some difficulty we were able to design a small orbital trade station that meets their parameters.

Equipped with a single O2/H2 generator, a single O2 tank and a single H2 tank, this small station minor refueling needs (just enough to make planet fall or to a larger station). The interior is airtight, pressurized, and sparsely furnished (not furnished at all) to provide quick hassle free access to the station store and contacts terminal.
There are two cargo access points to assist with cargo transferring and minimal storage. The rare use of a gravity generator provides a comfortable .50G of artificial gravity for ease of mobility and personal navigation. A single battery provides power for up to 24hrs and thus relies on docked craft to recharge it.

There are two landing pads designed for small craft. In addition two docking ports are provided for larger craft. The airlock doors are on a three second automatic close cycle to help prevent atmosphere loss. A beacon broadcasting out at a range of 5km will help you find the station.

Surprisingly the team spent most of the allocated PCU's (Performance Cost Units) on the artistic style of the superstructure, which is typically against company policy of form fits function.
