Introduction

Based on your boring everyday foul pole, this one is anything but ordinary. Using advanced transparency techniques, this pole is a work of art for your hometown team, with realistic stains and slight colour variations. Much like my Home Plate and Bases, this goes well with ploppable gravel or ultimate area fillers. The pole also goes well with the other great baseball-related assets on the workshop and is designed to work perfectly with Elektrix's new Prop Painter mod - see the second-to-last image for examples.
This is the final installment in my series of sports-related custom models for the game, although if anyone has any requests, feel free to comment down at the bottom!


Stats
  • Main Model: 92 Tris
  • Main Textures: 128 x 128
  • LOD Model: 36 Tris
  • LOD Textures: 32 x 32
  • Find It (get it?) in the park menu, it uses park bench #1 as a template

Nerd Notes™

The LOD is somewhat inefficient, but shouldn't cause any problems unless you plop this a million times. This is in an attempt to retain realism for users without great mods like Ultimate Level of Detail or Adaptive Prop Visibility Distance.
As mentioned, Elektrix's Prop Painter mod is necessary for non-yellow colour variations.

Actually, Strategy Nerd, could you maybe help me with something. It's sports related. Probably something you could fix real quick. You see, I got this building I am trying update for campus dlc(make it varsity sports) and everything's good with it minus one thing. I keep getting a error code for it regarding it's LOD and the it's x and y axis. What happened is mod tools expotred it with it's x axis inverted so the textures were backwards. Well, I fixed that but now I think the lod obj is inverted as well and trying to flip it in blender isn't working. That's with both pressing ctrl and m, then x. I don't know what to do. Do you think you could do it for me?. I could send you the files.

Great job!. I have been waiting for these!. Awesome!. As for what to do next, well, I did see someone on simtropolis mention modular bleachers. I was like, "ohh Strategy Nerd, where are you" when I saw the post. Basically, they thought "think the bleachers similar to those on king leno's assets, but without light pole's or the commentator's box and split into 3 parts. A end piece for the left, right and a middle piece". I thought that was a pretty good idea honestly. Just a suggestion tho. Thank you again for these!.
