MOMO MOTORS COMPANY

Momo Motors is a fictional company manufacturing engines for trucks. We currently have 2 engines (3 variants each) available in the market.

WHAT IS THIS MOD

This mod provides 2 new engines (3 variants each) with new realistic & insulated sound.

Currently Available for:

Scania R 2009
Actros 2014
Renault T
Renault Magnum
Volvo 2009

With this mod you will get total 6 engine variants as below:

1. MM19 380HP "ECO CHAMPION"
Suitable for greedy operators who enjoy squeezing every penny. Nothing sweeter than money.

2. MM19 450HP "MIGHTY GAL"
You can't go wrong with the gal. She'll pull all normal cargoes sweetly & sexily. She is all you need.

3. MM19 650HP "BIG MAMA"
Riding the big mama you won't be seen a sissy again. She won't ask how heavy, she only asks where. Oh yes mama!

4. MM18 400HP "POPEYE"
Don't underestimate this old spinach-addicted sailor. He may look a wimp but he will haul like crazy.

5. MM18 500HP "HERCULES"
If the masculine is your thing. You won't lose face going with Hercules.

6. MM18 600HP "GOLIATH"
When things don't seem to move, you need a hand of a giant.

Note:

1. MM18 and MM19 have different sound. MM19 sounds stronger than MM18. So if you prefer stronger sound, start with MM19. But if you prefer softer sound, start with MM18. Both of them sound insulated.

2. The sound volume is slightly louder in higher HP engines.

3. The mod also comes with its own realistic minor cabin sound such as the blinkers, air brake, crashing, etc. So it should be placed higher than Sound Fix mod or any other sound mod.

4. More engine variants such as 730HP will come with next updates.

GOAL OF THIS MOD

The goal of this mod is to provide a "realistic insulated" engine sound inside the cabin. While there are a lot of other realistic engine sound mods out there already such as Kriechbaum's and Vasily's, although they sound very realistic, but they don't sound "insulated" like sitting inside a modern well insulated truck. This mod is NOT for you if you like loud sound. But if you are looking for deep and subdued sound inside the cabin, this mod is for you.

DISCLAIMER

The sound of this mod is ported from Old Model's bus mod named "Marcopolo Paradiso GV1150". I hereby expressly declare that I am NOT the creator of the sound. I only ported the sound from his bus to the trucks. If any legitimacy issue arises from this mod. I will delete this mod immediately without prior notice. Therefore, I do not claim this sound as my own.

COMPATIBILITY/AVAILABILITY

- 1.35 and older
- SCS trucks listed above.
- Should be placed higher than truck mods and sound mods.
- Can be used with other engine mods.

HOW TO REMOVE THE MOD PROPERLY

1. Buy a new engine for the truck (any engine not from this mod).
2. Or sell the truck.
3. Remove this mod.

KNOWN ISSUE

The HP badge on some trucks does not indicate the correct number. For example, the badge displays 625 HP but actually the engine is 600 HP. Some trucks will show the correct number while some trucks will show a close number. This is because the badges were made for the SCS original engines only. And my engines have different HP from some of SCS trucks. But this is just a minor visual issue that can be easily overlooked, and it will NOT affect the gameplay in anyway.
