(This mod probably works in vanilla too, but I haven't tested it.)


Ever get a selection of Printing Pod items that you really don't like, but took anyways because it felt like a waste not to? Now you can take a raincheck on that and reject it with glee and abandon. The Pod will recharge faster next time, to a default of 1 day until the next print.

You can configure the refunded amount in the mod folder. It defaults to 0.66, and higher means more time refunded. The file is located at "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\Steam\1872801058" on Windows computers. Additionally, there is a config dialogue available in the mod menu.

Use with DGSM or Care Package Manager for more customizability.

this seems perfect. i keep getting every colonist possible other than a doctor or an artist so this should alleviate that

Hello, I've not returned as a modder, but I was playing the new DLC and realized i really missed this mod. I've updated it and it works in Spaced Out according to my scientific test of one (1) refund attempt. It probably works with asteroids too (i tested it by putting down a mini-pod). It should also probably work in vanilla, but I haven't tested that.

@tox2ik - Are you confused, trolling, or a little kid that shouldn't be on the internet yet?

All this mod does, is partially refills the printer pod meter IF you reject everything it offers you. That way you can get something useful for your colony faster. It's a very slight cheat to help mitigate getting bad luck with the printer pod. It doesn't pop up any dialogs or pause gameplay, let alone every 5 minutes. You have to click the printer pod to get the base game dialog, and can ignore it if you want. You're simply being rude to the author for no reason.

Why would you want to make the game about interacting with a UI Dialog that's for selecting an item? Why would you even want to interrupt your game every 5 minutes with such a Dialog? This is dumb. You have poor taste.
